WHEN PRAYER IS MISSING

WHEN PRAYER IS MISSING

WHEN PRAYER IS MISSING

When prayer is missing, we run without God, and when we run without Him, we run the risk of running out of His will and out of His light into the darkness of the wicked, that’s always waiting around seeking for our careless moments. God frown at how we live our lives most time without Him. We put everything in place but always leave out the most important, which is God. We give our children things to do, precautions they should take, risks they must not be involved in but always forget to teach them to pray, to personally plead the Blood of Jesus Christ, to chew His Name as regular in their mouths as they chew their snacks and biscuits.

We employ household’s staff, go into businesses, send our children to schools and many other daily things we do, all without praying, and when we pray, we only pray to tell God our decisions, not to ask Him His mind for that particular house staff, or clerk or driver, we are always in a hurry to hirer people but never in a hurry to ask God before going ahead.

How about parties and family engagements we involved ourselves, how many of them do we commit to God and ask for permission before entering the road, we only tell him when we are set to hit the road, we rarely ask Him if we should go. God is always secondary in many people decisions, no wonder he rarely defend them and their children when things go wrong. God must be first in all we do. If He’s not first, He’s not there at all.

Having a long list of precautionary measure is good, we must be very careful, ask questions but in Christian parenting, if God and prayer is not number one on our list of cautions, all other precautions are limited and irrelevant. In the wilderness, as long as the pillar of cloud in the day and pillar of fire in the night was ahead of them, nothing and no one could harm them because they have the mark “touch not my anointed” and the same is true of us, as long as God is given the leading position, and we make prayer our lifestyles and teach our children the same, nothing and no one can harm us. Nothing and no one can harm a family where Jesus Christ reigns as King. God must be first and must always be seen to be the first. We run a greater risk when we ignore prayers and put God on the reserve bench. Please take note of this!
