  1. PERSONAL STRATEGIES TO COMBAT THE CHALLENGES.

Before I retired from work in 1996, to the Glory of GOD and the support of my dear wife, we have erected a small structure of 3-Bedrooms apartment in 1995 with all the conveniences.. based on
our family size of five people.

The issue of paying rent was eliminated and amount spread over other Key expense items.

During the retirement years our children were at the University, two girls reading Medicine at College of Medicine, UNILAG and a boy at OAU.. reading Agricultural Science.

Through prudent and prioritization of expenses based on my monthly pension payment..cum sincere
SUPPORT from my better half who was still working.. in addition to engaging in small businesses especially in Mobil Oil where I retired and some other companies, we were able to train all our children successfully in the University.
I will not forget to mention that my wife was a dogged worker who invested in Poultry farming and the little income did assist us to stabilise and meet our financial obligations.

We cut off frivolities and committ our resources to serving GOD and Humanity
We attend Church regularly and served as Church workers…I was Church Warden for two terms and my wife is a Lay Reader as well.
We pay our Tithes regularly and also participate in order areas of finical needs in the Church and our Church Society (YMCA YWCA) as well as in our Community.
