KEEP BEING THE SALT

Breaking of Bread:  Matthew 5:13-16

It is one thing to be the salt, it is another to keep being the salt. Just like marriage, it is easy to do wedding but to stay married require 100% commitment and efforts. Therefore, for salt to stay active and relevant, it will take some deliberate efforts at the start, over time one will get used to those deliberate actions and it will become part and parcel of one’s life, especially once divine help becomes regular and perpetual.

If salt must keep its savour, it must preserves it’s saltiness and maintain its originality no matter what and in all conditions. Preserve your savour by preserving your tongue and stay close to the Source of Grace.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

1. Thank You Father for adding pleasantness into my life.

2. Thank You Father for making me the salt in my family.

2 Chronicles  7:18  Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man to be ruler in Israel.  

Jeremiah  33:17  For thus saith the LORD; David shall never want a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;

3. Thank You Father for ending the unprofitable pattern of evil and the start of blessedness in my family beginning from me in Jesus Name. Amen

4. Father I must not lose my relevance. My savour must not be lost in Jesus Name. Amen

5.  Father keep my life by keeping my tongue in Jesus Name. Amen

Luke  4:22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?

1 Peter  3:10  For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

6. Father keep my savour by keeping my mouth in Jesus Name. Amen

7. Father keep Your blessedness and grace in me and in my lineage beginning by keeping our tongue in Jesus Name. Amen

Colossians  1:9  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Psalms 119:105 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

8. Father, keep the sharpness and the saltiness of the Covenant of Salt in my by the agency of Your Word in Jesus Name. Amen

9. Father, open my eyes to see and heart to understand things that are of used to me and to Your Covenant of Salt in Jesus Name. Amen

10. Father, the savour of grace and the blessings of service to God upon me and my family must not end with me in Jesus Christ Mighty Name.

May you like salt continue to be relevant, may you not lose your sweet savour and may the sweet savour of God in you and upon you keep spreading to lives around you and in all your generations forever in a Covenant of Salt in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen
