TIPS FOR HOLIDAY BIBLE TIMES WITH THE CHILDREN (PART 1)

  1. Remind them that they are sons and daughters of God, and that they have to behave and talk like they are. Remind them that they belong to Jesus. Never assume they know this – they must be told over and over again. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name – John 1:12
  2. Tell them all over again that wonderful story of The Virgin Birth. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us – Matt. 1:23. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life – John 3:16

They will gladly commit the Bible verses to memory if you ask them to; and remember to pray for them in your closet, before you start each session.

Make it a happy and fun time.

Happy Covenant of Words time with the children.
