Dangers are everywhere, even the Bible comfirm that there are evil each day and it is our parental responsibility to teach or train our children precautionary measures to avoid, escape and avert them.

At what age therefore, should one consider most appropriate to start to teach and to train a child precautionary measures like for example “don’t talk to strangers alone”, “don’t collect or take gift/money/material items from strangers without daddy’s or mommy’s permission”, “learning how to use the Blood of Jesus Christ against incantation, divination, and all forms of satanic devices commonly used by kidnappers, evil men” etc.

What’s the most appropriate age to start these life saving trainings on precautionary measures with a child?

I once heard of a baby whose mother worked in a noisy bar all through her nine months pregnancy. After putting to bed, she discovered her young baby will not sleep readily like most babies will do, but instead will cry for most part of day until she by chance discovered that her baby lack of sleep was due to the serenity of her living apartment, unlike where she spend most part of her days prior to delivery, the room was too quite for the child, so she starts playing some noisy sound at home and the baby will sleep and sleep like a baby should. Her discovery was simple, the baby got used to her mom noisy work environment right from when it was in the womb, so much now that, it could hardly sleep and feel comfortable in a serene environment.

This simply prove babies hear and respond well to words and to their environment right from the time conception takes place. I therefore recommend, especially for would-be parents and expecting parents that you can start the talk now. And for those with new babies, no need waiting start immediately, some waits might be too long, by the time some realize the need to start passing instructions, the child spirit already have enough options that may make new and better instructions obsolete. Then long prayers and fasting will become inevitable.

If your parenthood have passed any of these two stages (pregnancy and infancy) and the children are already running round the house, then your workmanship is already running with time. We always assume some certain instructions are too early to discuss, for example telling a ten month old baby collecting things from strangers is forbidden or talking to strangers alone is unwholesome might look like a work in futility but that’s far from the truth. It might seem the child is not getting it but the day he/she will follow through with that instructions you will be happy you started early. No age is too early to tell a child to start pleading the Blood of Jesus Christ for personal protections against unsolicited arrows that flies in noonday.

Many children are at lost as to what to do when confronted with dangers, and parents are always wondering why basic home trainings were not adhere to but there is a big difference between planting an instruction in a child spirit and placing it in his/her hearing. The former works better and is only achievable when the heart is captured before the child had the power to chose between right and wrong. Lessons are more harder to teach when the spirit is harden with self, that’s where so much prayers have to come in to push in a desired effect once the child is becoming conscious of his power to make choices.

Our friends from brother Ishmael understand this principle more than most children of grace, right from the eighth day, a child is shaved clean, and at specific hours certain incantations and lyrics from their books are recited in his/her eardrums, as early as 3-4 years, some much more earlier, the child is registered with special teachers to teach the letters and manners of their religion, all in unending round of incantations soaking the child spirit with words they can hardly refused.

The child understanding is mostly unfruitful but the spirit becomes harden with New incantation and recitation. By the time he/she is 10, there is a settle hatred for Christianity and anything Jesus Christ in the heart of that child, while the next neighbour Christian family has never even asked their own children to memorise our Lord’s prayer, talk less of Psalm 23 and 91. They don’t even know how important the name of Jesus Christ is to their basis survival. It is not enough to talk out instructions, it is very important to back words up with spiritual actions, prayers and the Word should go hand in hand.

The spirit of disobedients and misunderstanding is ravaging the world through rebellion, the more of God’s Word in a child spirit the better. The name of Jesus Christ and His Blood will make no serious sense to a child until his/her spirit is fully awake by the power of the Word. We don’t just give instructions, don’t take, don’t do, don’t touch, don’t taste etc we backed up our voices with secret words of prayers soaked and fired by the Word, and watch as things start to happen that will amaze us, fetch us peace and glorify our God.

There is danger in the world, any week without a lesson on precautionary measures is like a throwing a gem into the sea, hardly recoverable. Don’t wait, no time for waiting, start now. Now is the appropriate time. Would-be parents should talk to their children by faith, their spirit will hear and respond in time, pregnant women should call theirs by name and start dishing out instructions, the baby within can hear and respond and for those who are already here, no age is too early or too late, start now, even if he/she is just some three or four weeks old. If you wait much longer, more prayers and more fastings may be needed to get the same result you would have gotten if you start now.
