CHOOSE YOUR ADVISORS AND FRIENDS WISELY WHEN ITS ALMOST OVER
Breaking of Bread: Matthew 16:21-23
It is natural and right to seek for help, advise and guidance when the heat becomes unbearable and the battle is fierce. No one can go all along alone for too long without the support and timely advice of faithful friends. To be alone in days of trouble is a trouble in itself (Ecclesiastes 4:10).
However, as good and advisable as it is to seek for help and advise when one’s strength is small, it is also important to be very careful when choosing advisors and friends. The people you surround yourself with can either make or mar your outcome when the heat is great and the battle is ALMOST OVER.
It is the duty of friends to advise but the final decisions rest on each of our shoulders in matters that affect our lives and families and at the end, we shall all takes responsibility for each of our actions and so the need to weigh all advise and counsel in the light of the Word of God through the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Proverbs 27:9 Ointment and perfume rejoice the heart: so doth the sweetness of a man’s friend by hearty counsel.
Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

- Father thank you for not leaving me at the mercy of enemies like friends in Jesus Name. Amen
Deuteronomy 13:6,8 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers…Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him;
- Father by your grace, I will not walk willfully into evil covenants and bondage again by reason of friendly advise in Jesus Name. Amen.
2 Samuel 13:3 But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David’s brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man.
- Father, keep me far from evil minded friends in Jesus Name. Amen
2 Samuel 15:37 So Hushai David’s friend came into the city, and Absalom came into Jerusalem.
2 Samuel 15:31 And one told David, saying, Ahithophel is among the conspirators with Absalom. And David said, O LORD, I pray thee, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness.
2 Samuel 17:14 And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel…
- Father bless my life now and future with good and faithful friends like Hushai in Jesus Name. Amen
- Father, turn every counsel and imaginations of evil friends to foolishness in the Name. Amen.
2 Chronicles 20:7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?
Isaiah 41:8 But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.
John 15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
- Father, teach me your mind and help me do your will in my weakest moments in Jesus Name. Amen
Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

- Father bless me and bless my children, each one of them with good and faithful friends, especially in their hours of needs in Jesus Name. Amen
- I will not fall into error by reason of advise from those close to me in Jesus Mame. Amen
- My children will not fall into evil by reason of people close to them in Jesus Name. Amen

Acts 27:3 And the next day we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously entreated Paul, and gave him liberty to go unto his friends to refresh himself.
- I will experience growth and increase on all front by reason of my friends in Jesus Name. Amen
- Father bless my children with friends who will refreshed them and not caterpillars who will pull them down in Jesus Name. Amen.
- Father separate me and separate my children from destiny destroying friendship with the world in Jesus Name. Amen
Acts 1:20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.
- Every friends taking undue advantage of my hours of need to defraud me and pursue my fall, Father let their place in my life be empty and desolate in Jesus Name. Amen
- Every friendly enemies in the lives of my children or waiting for convenient points to enter the lives of my children, I declare your place in their lives empty and be occupy by another in Jesus Name. Amen
May you not fight your battles alone, may God send you help betimes and may your victory announce God to many families in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. Amen and Amen.
